rhytmic abstract–concrete painting KH#343 / 2026

Rhythmic Abstract-Concrete Painting KH#343
image gallery

The painting KH#343 is an abstract-concrete work structured by a dense rhythmic sequence of vertical stripes. Pure pigments of purple red and Caput Mortuum, together with their mixtures, create a nuanced chromatic field.

These colored zones are contrasted by thick black impasto lines, whose opaque material presence stands against the partially transparent color layers. The interaction between pure and mixed colors, transparency and material density creates a vibrant rhythmic structure across the surface.

more information The painting is built up from numerous thin layers of paint consisting of high-quality pigments in an acrylic dispersion.

The black, impasto sections consist of thicker layers of pigment.

The canvas is high-quality Belgian linen primed by the artist himself, whose texture remains clearly visible beneath the thin layers.

It is delivered on a sturdy wooden stretcher frame. The sides are painted, so no additional frame is required.

The painting is ready to hang.
